Small Space With a Big Purpose
The Impact
The Ask
As a sponsor of the annual Peachtree Road Race, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) saw an opportunity to make an impact at the pre-race Health & Wellness Expo. Their two main goals were to highlight 10 runners participating for charitable causes (Peachtree with a Purpose) and drive AJC app downloads.
The Solution
WITS created an engaging 20’x30’ interactive booth. Attendees could choose a sticker to wear on their race bib, supporting their favorite charity runner. At the heart of the booth was the “What Do You Run For?” bracelet-making station, where runners and their families personalized bracelets using AJC-branded beads.
Out of 40,000 Expo attendees, 20,000 visited the AJC booth to make bracelets, learn about the featured runners, and collect AJC-branded swag.
